Turned off by the belligerent Trumper in your life? Irritated by the self-righteous liberals you know? Do the dogmatic religious conservatives around you make you crazy? Would you rather exorcise the irreverent atheists out of your life than love them as directed by your faith? If you’ve wondered how to navigate your relationships during this deeply divided season in America, you’ll want to join Heart Perception Project for our free, interactive workshop. Inspired by a growing awareness of the division in our country, this workshop is designed to help you learn to have conversations in which you can connect with others on a heart level despite your differences. The workshop will challenge and encourage you in your interactions with your family, your community, and your world. Please come if you are willing to let go of needing others to change, and are willing to explore how change from within can provide the deepest healing to the divide.
Heart Perception Project is not affiliated with any political party or religious group, and pushes no agenda other than a hope to help people connect from the level of their deep humanity. Founded by Kellie Newton, a liberal non-theist from Seattle, and Heidi Petak, a conservative Christian from Nashville, Heart Perception Project creates space for heart connection in the midst of deep ideological differences, promoting the same principles for communication and connection that have kept Newton and Petak's 30-year friendship alive.
